JOHN PUGH

It is with the heaviest of hearts that Owl’s Head Alloys announces the loss of one of our very own, John E. Pugh Executive Vice President, who passed away on Saturday November 28, 2020.

​

John fought Covid-19 with the resilience and strength that he brought to OHA every day. He leaves behind his wife, Renea, son Bo, daughters Laura and Carey, and eight grandchildren. Please keep John’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

​

John was not only a key part of the OHA management team but a highly respected professional in the global aluminum industry. He built a wonderful career working for over 30 years with companies in Tennessee, Australia, and Kentucky. John was known in the industry for his work ethic, honesty, and character. He joined OHA in April of 2013 and was instrumental in making continuous improvements to the OHA process systems as well as overseeing a major plant expansion in 2017.

John was a true gentleman and he will be missed by his family at Owl’s Head Alloys.
